FAQ
Straight answers.
These describe what LLC Deadlines does today. They are general information about the product, not tax, legal or accounting advice for your situation.
01 What is LLC Deadlines?
It is a deadline calendar and record-keeper for people outside the US who own a US LLC. You add your LLC once; it shows you what is due and when, links each item to the official government page, and remembers what you have already filed. You do the filing yourself — we never file for you or contact a government agency on your behalf.
02 Which state deadlines can you give me today?
Wyoming. The Wyoming Annual Report and License Tax is due on the first day of your LLC's anniversary month each year, and you can file it up to 120 days early. We also track your registered agent as an ongoing obligation, because it is separate from the annual report and losing it is how a lot of owners fall out of good standing. Delaware and New Mexico are not on the timeline yet.
03 Do you calculate my Form 5472 deadline?
No, and that is deliberate. The IRS instructions say a foreign-owned US disregarded entity files Form 5472 attached to a pro forma Form 1120 by that Form 1120's due date, including extensions — but only if it had a reportable transaction with a related party during the year. Whether your LLC had one is a judgment about your facts, and we do not collect those facts or make that call. So we flag the item, link the IRS instructions, and tell you to speak to a licensed EA or CPA.
04 If something is not on my timeline, does that mean I do not owe it?
No — and this is the most important thing on this page. An item can be missing because we have not covered it yet, not because it does not apply to you. That is why we publish the full coverage list rather than hiding the gaps. When in doubt, open the official source or ask a licensed professional.
05 What information do you ask for?
Your LLC's name, formation state, formation date, fiscal year, ownership shape, and optionally your Wyoming-located assets so we can estimate the annual report fee. That is all. There is no field anywhere in LLC Deadlines for an EIN, a passport, an ID document, bank credentials, or payment processor keys — by design.
06 What does it cost?
Free covers one active LLC. During early access, every account can try Workspace at no charge and nothing on the site takes payment today. When billing opens, Workspace is planned at $29 per active LLC per year and will unlock multiple active LLCs. Judgment-heavy work is not something we sell at all — we point you to a licensed EA or CPA.
07 Is it available in Chinese?
Yes. English is the default, and a complete Simplified Chinese edition is at /zh. Use the language switch in the header at any time; both editions show the same obligations and the same sources.
Still not sure whether something applies to you?
The coverage list names every obligation we track, what it looks like in your workspace, and the official government page behind it — so you can check any of it yourself.
